Cookies & analytics

This page describes the cookies used on DeepASI.Network and the optional analytics on some of its public website pages.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics 4 is available on this website, to help us understand in aggregate how the public pages are used so we can improve them. It runs only if you choose Accept analytics. Before you make a choice, and after you reject, the Google Analytics script is not loaded, no request is sent to Google Analytics, and no Google Analytics cookie is set.

It can run only on these pages:

  • /
  • /consensus-engine
  • /technology
  • /roadmap
  • /manifesto
  • /join
  • /join/thank-you
  • /cookies

It never runs in the Consensus Engine app (pages under /app), on the sign-in callback, or on pages that do not exist.

If you accept, Google Analytics records which of these pages are viewed, together with the standard engagement information it collects on websites, such as browser and device type. The page address we send is the page's path on this site without any query string or fragment, and the previous page is included only when it was one of the pages above. We send no custom events and none of the values you enter in the waitlist form.

Google Ads and remarketing are not used. Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization are always denied in Google's consent settings, and Google signals and ad personalization are switched off.

Changing your choice

You can accept or reject analytics at any time with Cookie settings, in the website footer or below. Rejecting after accepting stops further measurement in your browser and removes the Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_RW16YH3QF6) that were set for this site. It does not delete information that was already sent to Google Analytics before you changed your choice.

Necessary cookies

Your analytics choice itself is remembered in a first-party cookie, dan-analytics-consent, which holds only the value “granted” or “denied” and is kept for 180 days, after which we ask again.

Signing in to the app uses session cookies that keep you signed in. The app also remembers interface preferences, such as its theme and sidebar width, in cookies. None of these are used for analytics or advertising.
